Daphne Blake Painting From Scooby-Doo By Adam Daly

Scooby-Doo’s Daphne Blake is a beautiful sexy woman who has a great sense of adventure, but tends to get herself into some sticky situations because of it. Hence her well deserved nickname “Danger-Prone” Daphne. I’ve always loved the “Scooby-Doo Where Are You?” cartoons, but felt they could use an adult makeover.

So I started with a concept that the Mystery Team is still hunting down and chasing bad guys; however, this time they are prepared. This time they are strapped! I mean who in their right mind would go into castles and haunted mansions without some sort of weapon?

So I started with “Danger-Prone” Daphne. This new version of her still tends to get into trouble but she knows how to get herself out of trouble too. More like a butt kicking bond girl.

If you look closely you will notice some details that really define the new Daphne. For example she has now embraced her nickname and even engraved it on her piece (that’s gangster for gun). She even still has the shackle on her arm that her recently lit up (gangster for shot) captor bound her in. What a badass :) !

This by far took the longest out of any of my paintings to date. I hope you enjoy it! I don’t get paid to do these it’s just something I love to do. So if you wouldn’t mind leaving me a comment or sharing this with a friend you think would enjoy it I would greatly appreciate it!

Great job Adam! You should send this to Keirsun. He once did a speech on “If I were in charge of Scooby Doo”.
