I really enjoy painting. I remember when I was a wee lad the school I went to would allow students to stay after and work on art projects. This was a dream! I was truly like a kid in a candy store (I will not admit to eating any of the art supply though).

I can remember making so many creations. They probably were all junk to most people, but to us it was art. And if you don’t make art for yourself then what’s the point?

So now as an adult my tastes have changed a bit, but I certainly still enjoy creating. And after illustrating a beautiful female I thought it would be a fun to paint her. Well, here’s the completed painting.

If you’ve never seen a speed painting video, or don’t know what one is, it’s not me painting at break-neck speeds. It’s actually a recording of the painting process sped up so that you can see the progress much quicker.

It’s really cool seeing the process of painting sped up. I wish that the actual process was this quick! And here she is in the completed painting.

I was pretty happy with the way this painting turned out. I really need to upgrade my bamboo tablet though. Dear Santa .
