One of the last good weather weekends of 2010, some friends and I made a journey out to the Sleepy Bear Sand Dunes. Though it’s quite a walk, it’s well worth every step. Here are a few photos I took that capture some of the beauty that day. It was truly heaven on earth.
What a view. It’s almost hard to believe that there are places like this on earth. Just breathtaking.
I liked this shot sideways. The decking was built for the amazing view but I was rather impressed with the decking

I wanted to fly off the edge and soar over the water. At one point I was able to take a helicopter around this area, and yes, I did video tape the entire ride. I will post that in the near future as well.
I had never seen colors like these before. Thanks to my camera I can see them again, and share them with you.
